The appetizers are great and the Pho is really good too. I'd definitely recommend this place. For the price of the menu, the portion is really good too. I was able to make two meals out of the Pho I ordered.
The pho was authentic and full of flavor—Pho King was a standout with its rich broth, marrow-filled bone, and a savory Asian donut, while the Pho Ga had perfectly thin-sliced chicken. Portions were generous and satisfying. Service was excellent—Maria was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambience is great too, overall, a great spot for quality pho, and I’d definitely recommend it!
When you walk in you are greeted by happy and nice staff. I was seated immediately. Quickly came back with shrimp chips and water before even taking my order! The menu has a plethora of options not just Pho . However I wanted pho it’s my fav! I ordered the pho ga with the Vietnamese donut and the water cress salad. I also had the Vietnamese iced coffee. The food was packed with flavor idk what the dressing on the salad was but it was fire . Presentation was very pretty as well. One thing I found especially special was the wall that you see when you enter. It’s pictures of the owners family from history. You can tell they put their heart into it. The bar is a full bar, and very pretty. I spent less than 40 before tip. This is in the 5th st market. The higher end of Eugene, the shops in the area are all on a high end scale so I wouldn’t expect to go to a restaurant on the second level of the market to be any less. It was def an experience, music playing and a whole vibe. I’d def recommend coming and checking for yourself. Quality is definitely their priority here! The pho is a family recipe. The food is very authentic.
Despite the name being sort of gimmicky this is the best pho in town! I've tasted other dishes here when friends and family have ordered them but for me it's the Pho King Special. The restaurant has plenty of seating indoors and some extra tables out on the patio at the 5th Street market which is nice ambience. Cocktails are excellent, a little pricey. Service has always been impeccable except for one time when the server was not busy but just completely ignored my son and I well while she rolled silverware. The bartender brought us our drink, other service delivered our food, I never got a refill on my glass of water which I've been wanting since before the food got there and my son had to go ask her for the check so we could pay. But I won't let one bad experience ruin the whole appreciation for the place. Still get it five out of five.
The Food here was amazing came here for a first date and will be coming back.Super quaint restaurant in the 5th street market. I’m from the bay area and this Pho has great flavor and very traditional. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, it’s the Pho King best in town!!! Heavily recommended especially on a rainy day.
I went to this place for a simple lunch without high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and stylish interior decor, which lifted my mood. The atmosphere was also cozy. Initially, I thought the prices were a bit high, but the spring rolls I ordered as an appetizer were perfectly fried and tasted great. The Pho King Pho was not only delicious, but the brisket and other meats blended harmoniously in the broth. The food was generously plated, making it perfect for Instagram photos. The location is excellent, and the overall experience, including the ambiance, food quality, and friendly, skilled staff, was very satisfying. I highly recommend this place.
Great dinner with my son here. Special was fabulous—bone marrow was killer, plus meatballs, and donut. But the broth, beef, fresh fresh sprouts and scallions, plus silky noodles were superb. Service crew was prompt, informed, and friendly. Vietnamese lager beer great. We enjoyed things so much we ordered the mango tapioca dessert too.
Had a great experience. I would highly recommend the fried rice and add pork belly to it. It was amazing. Printice was our server/bar tender and made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely coming back.
